Designed access scaffold with pavement gantry. Scaffold tied into building using double M16 bolts and Hilti rings.

The objective of this project was to allow full front façade access to a 20m high building while providing protection to the surrounding buildings and routes. In the scope of this project, our technical team sought to design a unique scaffold. Typically, standard TG20:30 scaffold could have been used in similar cases, however, due to the nature of site conditions, conventional scaffolding with physical ties could not be performed. To overcome this uncertainty, our team developed a bespoke scaffolding strategy that incorporated double tie points at both the base and the first floor levels exceeding the requirements and ensuring the structural integrity of the works.
